Helping victim-survivors navigate the justice system after sexual assault and family violence.

Our Victims’ Legal Service (formerly Integrated Services for Survivor Advocacy, or ISSA) supports victim-survivors of sexual assault and family violence to understand their rights, navigate complex legal systems, and access the support they need to move forward. We recognise that engaging with the justice system can be overwhelming, particularly when people are also dealing with trauma, housing insecurity, financial stress, or other interconnected challenges.

Through a multidisciplinary approach, our lawyers and social workers work alongside victim-survivors to provide practical legal assistance, advocacy and coordinated support. We help clients navigate processes such as intervention orders, victims of crime assistance and related legal matters, while connecting them with trusted services that support recovery, safety and wellbeing.
