Victim-survivors of workplace sexual harassment should be able to make informed choices about privacy and disclosure without pressure from employers. This submission supports reforms that would prohibit non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) unless requested by the victim-survivor, alongside access to independent, trauma-informed legal advice and stronger transparency measures to address workplace sexual harassment and drive systemic cultural change.
South-East Monash Legal Service contributed to this submission as part of the consortium of community legal centres that make up the Working Women’s Centre Victoria.
