South-East Monash Legal Service partners with MIND to provide legal assistance alongside mental health support services. Many people experiencing mental health challenges are also navigating legal issues such as housing, debt, fines, family violence or discrimination. These issues can have a significant impact on wellbeing, recovery and long-term stability.
By working together, we help people access the support they need in a coordinated and accessible way. Our partnership connects legal assistance with broader health and community supports, ensuring people receive holistic, person-centred help that recognises the connection between legal issues and mental wellbeing.
We work with schools in the southeast to help young people understand their rights and responsibilities, as well as access legal help.
