As a signatory to the Power to Prevent Coalition’s joint statement, South East Monash Legal Service joined more than 60 organisations, unions, legal services and advocates in calling for reforms to improve access to justice for people experiencing workplace discrimination and sexual harassment.
The statement urges the Australian Government to adopt an “Equal Access” costs model that would remove the financial barriers and risks that often prevent people from pursuing discrimination claims, helping ensure fairer outcomes and stronger workplace protections
