Through its work with both victim-survivors of stalking and people accused of stalking-related behaviour, South East Monash Legal Service provided a frontline perspective to the Victorian Law Reform Commission’s review of stalking laws and responses.
The submission explores barriers to reporting, particularly in cases involving cyberstalking, and advocates for greater access to legal assistance, improved police responses, early support services and evidence-based interventions that address the underlying causes of harmful behaviour
