South-East Monash Legal Service is made up of a diverse team of people working together for justice. From lawyers and social workers to community engagement specialists, educators, and law students, everyone brings their own strengths and perspectives. This holistic approach allows South-East Monash Legal Service to support clients in ways that provide wrap-around support, recognising that legal issues often intersect with broader social challenges.

Our board
South-East Monash Legal Service is governed by a Board of Directors who bring a diverse range of expertise in governance, law, social justice, finance, academia, and community services. The Board is responsible for the strategic direction, oversight, and long-term sustainability of the organisation.
Our governance model ensures accountability and community representation, with members appointed through a combination of Monash University nominations, organisational roles, and elected positions. The Board works closely with the Executive Director to uphold our mission and values, and to ensure South-East Monash Legal Service continues to deliver high-quality legal services to our community.
