对家庭法体系的审查

In its submission to the Australian Law Reform Commission’s review of the family law system, South-East Monash Legal Service highlighted the barriers many families face in accessing fair, affordable and culturally inclusive family law services, particularly people experiencing family violence, financial hardship, disability, or language barriers.

The submission calls for a more child-centred, trauma-informed and accessible system, including stronger legal assistance funding, improved navigation and support services, and clearer, plain-language information for families. It also emphasises the need for reforms that better support vulnerable communities and reduce the cost and complexity of resolving family law disputes
