关于残疾支持养老金的目的、意图和充分性的调查

Economic security and access to meaningful work are closely linked for people living with disability. In its submission to the Senate Community Affairs References Committee, South East Monash Legal Service highlighted the barriers that people with disability face in employment, including discrimination, insecure work and financial hardship, and argued that income support systems and workplace laws must work together to reduce disadvantage.

The submission calls for stronger anti-discrimination protections, improved job security, accessible legal assistance, and a person-centred approach to government support that recognises the complex realities of disability, poverty and social inclusion.
