关于维多利亚州立法禁止纳粹敬礼的调查

A safe and inclusive society requires balancing freedom of expression with protections against conduct that causes harm and intimidation. In its submission to the Victorian Government, South East Monash Legal Service supported measures to address hate-based conduct and examined the role a legislative ban on the Nazi salute could play in reducing vilification and protecting targeted communities.

The submission emphasises the importance of combining legislative reform with public education, community engagement and broader anti-discrimination strategies to prevent hatred and promote social cohesion.
