South-East Monash Legal Service provided a submission to the Australian Government on the Draft National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children, drawing on our experience supporting victim survivors of family violence, sexual violence and related legal issues.
The submission advocates for a more comprehensive, victim-survivor centred approach, with stronger commitments to prevention, housing, financial security, accessibility, migration reform, community-led services and integrated support models to better address the diverse experiences of people affected by violence
