Drawing on decades of supporting victim-survivors through specialist sexual assault, family violence and workplace sexual harassment services, South East Monash Legal Service contributed to the Australian Law Reform Commission’s inquiry into justice responses to sexual violence.

The submission advocates for a more trauma-informed and accessible justice system, greater access to early legal assistance, stronger multidisciplinary support services, and community education initiatives that challenge harmful attitudes and promote respectful relationships.
